[History]:

Shanoa is one of the female warriors of the Order of Ecclesia, an organization that is said to be dedicated to finding a way to destroy Dracula for good.
She was raised in the Order by Barlowe, along with her adopted brother, Albus. It is unknown what happened to her biological parents. What little is known of her childhood seems fairly normal, since she at times played tag with Albus and then cried when she wasn't able to catch him.
As she got older, she started training to become a warrior for the Order. As it turns out she had a unique ability to channel power through the glyphs on her back and shoulders. Because of this, she was chosen to become the vessel for Dominus, the ultimate Glyph that was designed to destroy Dracula. As she was about to absorb Dominus, Albus interrupted the ceremony and took the Glyph, saying he was supposed to be the one to have Dominus. Apparently, because of the disruption, Shanoa lost her emotions and memories and thus had to go through a crash course of her training in order to relearn her skills.
A few weeks went by and Shanoa gone out to get Albus and to retrieve Dominus, still with no memories but had regained some knowledge on how to use her glyphs. As she traveled the country side, she discovered that Albus had imprisoned several villagers, and thus she freed them by using her glyphs.
During her travels though the country side, she ran into Albus twice. Each time he gave her a piece of Dominus. When she reported back to Barlowe about this, it was discovered that Dominus was really formed from Dracula's power. But Barlowe assured Shanoa that Dominus was the only way to defeat Dracula so she continued to search for Albus and the final piece.
Once she found Albus again, he absorbed the glyph which surprised Shanoa since he was unable to absorb glyphs before. Once Albus absorbs the final piece of Dominus, he became possessed by Dracula's power and attacked Shanoa. She ended up killing him and absorbing the final piece of Dominus. Once she did that, some of Albus's memories came to her, and she was able to communicate with his soul through Dominus. She found out the truth about the glyph. If someone uses Dominus it ends up killing them. Albus, knowing this the whole time, wanted to be the vessel for Dominus so that Shanoa would not have to sacrifice herself. But he was sent on a fool's errand by Barlowe so that the ceremony would take place without him around. So he ended up interrupting the ceremony to steal Dominus and thus saved Shanoa. As it turned out, Shanoa losing her memories and her emotions were the results of partially absorbing Dominus at the beginning of the ceremony, and not Albus interrupting. Once she learned all of this, Albus made her promise never to use Dominus.
Knowing the truth now, Shanoa went back to the order to confront her master, Barlowe. As it turned out, Barlowe did not want to destroy Dracula, but to bring him back to the world and destroy mankind, and using Dominus was the way to do just that. Shanoa, not wanting to die yet because she still has a lot of questions to be answered, fought her former master and defeated him. But Barlowe still managed to break the seal without Dominus, and thus Dracula's Castle rose.
Having nothing left, but her mission, Shanoa went the castle to confront Dracula. In order for her to defeat the Demon Lord, she broke her promise to Albus and used Dominus. It worked, and as she was dying, her memories and emotions started to come back and Albus's soul spoke to her again. He told her that Dominus only neede one soul, and that he would take her place if she only smile for him. She does, and her life was spared, allowing her to escape the Castle. After this, she went back to the Order and destroyed all the records so that no one else could create another Dominus glyph.

[Personality]:

The thing about Shanoa is that her personality is greatly lacking. Due to not having any emotions for the majority of her canon, she doesn't react to situations like a normal person. She remains very calm and level headed in tense situations which is to her advantage as a warrior. She can't feel fear, anger, hate, or sadness, but she also can't feel happiness, or love.
Other people giving outbursts of emotions really confuse her. She doesn't understand why people react they way the do, and this is mostly seen when she interacts with the villagers she's rescued. Some of them are very happy to see her when she visits and she will often ask why they feel that way. On some very basic level that is a shadow of her emotions, she does care about them as she is willing to do things for them. She will even try to play games with some of the children even though she doesn't get why the games are fun.
Shanoa is very driven by her duty in seeing to that Dracula is destroyed for good. Even when it was revealed that the Order's true purpose was to resurrect Dracula, she took it upon herself to continue to the castle in order to slay him. She even goes as far as to break her promise to Albus and use Dominus to do this and thus risking her life.
Before her emotions were lost, it was suggested that she was still very serious and a bit on the stoic side.

[Abilities / Strengths & Weaknesses]:

Shanoa is skilled in using various weapons, such as a bow and arrow, various swords, spears, and a scythe. Shanoa is a Glyph witch. The glyphs tattooed on her shoulders and back allow her channel power so that she can use magic, summon weapons and creatures, and to transform in to certain creatures. She gains more power by absorbing more glyphs from the monsters she defeats in battle. She can even combine glyphs to specialize in some attacks, like summoning a flaming sword by using fire and sword glyphs at once.
Because of her lack of emotions she will not back out of a fight easily unless it is very clear that there is no chance of her winning. This can is very much to her advantage as it is hard to read what she is thinking during a fight based on her body language.
As far as weaknesses go, Shanoa tends to take everything at face value. She can't tell when a person is lying to her and thus tends to be very trusting of other people which can lead into dangerous situations.

[Limited Powers]:

Shanoa has a long list of glyphs that she uses in her canon. For game purposes, she will only be able to summon the weapons that are listed in Abilities, as well as be able cast basic fire, ice, and lightening attack spells, summon a shield, and able to summon an owl familiar.

[After going through the book that she found on her when she woke up, and finding pages that actually spoke, Shanoa figured if she were to take to the book that it would answer her back.]

Where is this place? I shouldn't be here. [Unlike most newcomers her tone doesn't sound distressed. In fact, the voice doesn't seem to hold much emotion at all other than sounding a bit curious.]

I must complete my mission back in Romania and do not have time for this.

[She pauses for a second, a new thought coming to mind. It wouldn't be all that surprising if he was the one who sent her here.]

More spider pictures have appeared on the cover of my book. I wonder where they are all coming from....

The beasts that are in the area around the village have been getting more active as of late, and they are starting to get closer. It's not unusual to hear werewolf hollows several times throughout the night now. They have not been this active since Dracula was resurrected a few months ago. But they quieted down when he was defeated... I wonder if it is because that All Souls is approaching...

They're starting to come back. I'm starting to remember little vague bits of my past.

He has imprisoned the occupants of this village... What is he up to? I imagine if I find and free the other villagers I will find him and get my answers.
